oh. my. God.

What a hellish day.

So I was supposed to be flying out at 5pm today, to Toronto, right? Well, yesterday my cousin warned me about this huge snow storm, and I spent most of last night crying and freaking out cause I thought it'd get cancelled.

Well, all day earlier (all morning/afternoon) the flight status was "on time" and everything was fine. I said bye to my parents, went through security, etc.

And then 10 minutes before we were supposed to board, they made an announcement that it was going to be like a 4 hour delay, out of NOwhere.

Everyone flipped, and some people left and rebooked... but I stayed, cause my luggage was there, and then they were saying it might only be 3... That boarding lady was a real bitch too. I mean, this was my first time flying, I was confused and scared, and I went to ask her a question and she was SO rude, just said "SIT DOWN and I will announce to everyone in a few minutes." She wouldn't even let me open my mouth.

Anyway around an hour later they're like "New departure time, 7pm", so we were like SWEET... then at 7:10, we boarded! We were ON the plane, in our seats, most of us had already buckled up, and then we got the message that we were delayed AGAIN.

By this time I was almost crying with frustration, but I pulled my carry-on from the overhead compartment and trudged back up the tunnel thingie. But just ten minutes after we'd all gotten settled down in the waiting room for what they said was to be an hour or so delay, they canceled it altogether.

after that it was actually kind of exciting in a sickeningly stressful sort of way... I raced out of security and yelled that we had to get down there as fast as possible to get the soonest flight out, so my dad like, flew down the steps and got in line... in retrospect, it was awesome, like we were on the Amazing Race, lol.

So they booked me for tomorrow at 2:55pm. so, I took the liberty to bump my leaving from Wednesday to Thursday as well, and I hope my boss wont kill me. I mean, its one day, I doubt it'll be that big of a deal. So, all in all I actually get a few extra hours there. But still, it was a total waste of a day, although it was an interesting (yet exhaustingly frustrating) experience. I'm just proud of myself, how calm I was. I thought I was going to FREAK but I held it in. Go me, heh.

Anyway we're getting pizza and then I'm going to crash.
